The Basic Pool
The following items are included in every swimming pool:
Pool walls: pressure treated wood (.60pcf)w/ 40 year warranty or Polymer w/ lifetime warranty (extra)
Concrete footing: at base of the walls: 3000 psi. 24in wide X 7in deep
Hard bottom: vermiculite and portland cement mixture, hand troweled to a thickness of 1” to 2”
Plumbing: 1-1/2” PVC Schedule 40 pipe w/ PVC pressure fittings used through out.
Return wall fittings(2): 3/4” direction adjustable
Wall skimmer: 8”x16” wide mouth w/ leaf basket
Coping/ liner retainer: Aluminum with white baked-on enamel paint, screwed down, clips at each seam
Wall padding: 1/4” closed cell foam
Pool liner: vinyl (20 mils thick) with pattern, custom made by Plastimayd™(10 year warranty)
Filtration pump: 3/4 hp high volume pump made by Sta-Rite™
Water filter: 24” Hayward™ Pro Series high rate sand filter w/ multi-port backwash valve
Maintenance Kit: adjustable (8-16ft) cleaning pole, 35ft vacuum hose, vacuum head, brush and net
Chemical Testing: Quick dip test strips, test kit w/ liquid drops, thermometer
Start up Chemicals: 22# shock treatment, 10# 3” chlorine tablets, 22# Ph increaser, algaecide, water clarifier
Pool access(2): three tread stainless steel ladders (plastic treads, concrete anchors & chrome trim); Shallow end safety rope w/ floats and anchors
Winterizing of pool: First (1st) year free
